Wood Auto acquires Leyland Auto

Huddersfield, 23/07/2007 – Wood Auto (Holdings) Ltd today completed its acquisition of Leyland Auto Ltd for an undisclosed sum. The combined group will have over 140 employees and 100,000sqft of warehousing and operations covering over 50,000 different part numbers for virtually all aspects of the auto-electrical and diesel market.

Leyland Auto is based in Preston and is the leading auto-electrical and diesel fuel-injection specialist in the UK. Leyland Auto has over 25 years experience supplying auto-electrical and diesel fuel injection services and supplying a full range of auto-electrical products to PSV, CV, LCV, passenger car, rail and marine markets. Leyland Auto Ltd will continue to trade under the same name from its site at Walton Summit, Preston, with its existing management team and personnel.
