PRESS RELEASE - Wood Auto, a leading auto-electrical specialist since 1929, is pleased
to announce that it has formed a distribution agreement with German diesel
injection specialist, MonarkDiesel to supply their range of high quality
products across the UK aftermarket.
The agreement brings together two businesses with a combined aftermarket
heritage of more than 130 years and will include Monark’s entire product
portfolio. Wood Auto will take responsibility for product distribution,
primarily through the auto-electrical specialists and motor factors channels,
but also to end-users.
With more than 7,000 individual parts, the comprehensive MonarkDiesel programme
includes rotating electrics (automotive and CV), diesel injection service
products (nozzles, feed pumps, valves etc), lighting (auxiliary, beacons and
replacement units), filters (air, fuel and oil) and V-belts.
Wood Auto’s md, Graham Heywood said: “The alliance with MonarkDiesel demonstrates
that Wood Auto is a natural strategic partner for pan European businesses wishing
to distribute a quality brand in the UK. Our warehousing facilities and in-depth
knowledge of these product groups, allied to our longstanding distribution

distribution service.”
For MonarkDiesel, Axel Dieckmann added: “Finding the correct partner that is an
established business with relevant market experience and a similar company ethos,
