Since 1929 we've built partnerships our customers in the automotive industry know they can always count on. From our origins as a battery repair and servicing centre set up by Reginald Wood, right through to more recent times as an auto-electrical parts manufacturer, doing things well and earning customers' trust has always driven us.

We're still a proud and widely respected family business now, but we've also grown and evolved into the UK's leading distributor of OE and aftermarket auto-electrical products. Today, across six UK sites amounting to over 100,000 square feet, we stock over £5m worth of products.

We also export to 125 countries worldwide, supplying everyone from local garages and car enthusiasts right up to nationwide distributors and even global automotive businesses.

Despite this growth, some things never change, and that's why we've kept the Wood name and stayed true to our original goal. That goal couldn't be simpler: provide fantastic products and great service to make life simpler and smoother for every single customer.

As well as over 7,500 alternators and starters in our range, we've got access to a world-class selection of more than 500,000 products in total, every one of them competitively prices and officially guaranteed.

Having the right parts is one thing, but we also know that when you need a specific product, you probably needed it yesterday. That's why we offer same day despatch and next day delivery as standard, along with premium and specialist delivery services for literally anywhere in the world.

Account management is another strong point, and our dedicated Accounts and Technical teams have the expertise to identify, source, and supply even the most obscure and specialist parts.
